letting go of the negative thoughts
Hello, you beautiful people.
Just last week I launched a new blog post after months and months of not writing. I was very proud of the blog post and got a lot of good feedback on it.
I talked about the difference between setting resolutions vs intentions (which is a big difference and important).
But now, it’s gone.
You see, I recently switched servers and hosting and in the midst of all the changeover, the files were lost and I had no blog post.
Was I frustrated? You betcha.
I take a lot of pride in my blog posts and I put a lot of effort into everything I do for this blog and this just made me suuuuper upset (pour a few other stressful things into the mix and girl was over this week).
Wine anyone?
Then I realized that there was nothing I could do about it, so why should I be so angry? Move on Megan and let it go (this is hard for me).
I think a lot of us hold in a lot of our emotions and let it build up over time. I also think we think a lot of negative thoughts and need to replace those with positive ones.
So, I had a stressful week. So did a lot of other people. And I can guarantee my problems are a lot smaller than a lot of other people out there.
So, with all of that being said, I want to leave you all with a positive note going into the weekend.
I saw this a couple of days ago after I had been crying/swearing and I thought, holy shit, this is a sign.
It’s amazing how life will show up for you just when you need it.
So, if you’ve had a bad day this week or a bad week in general. I want you to take some deep breaths and let it go (if you can, it takes practice).
