blue magic smoothie

I’m always in the mood for a smoothie, but lately I’ve been craving them every day! They’re delicious and easy to make and you can take them on the go if you’re in a rush! I like finding healthy recipes for smoothies to pack a little extra punch.

How to: Place ¾ cup frozen blueberries, 1 tablespoon almond butter, and ½ cup unsweetened almond milk into a blender. Blend until smooth. Serves 1.

If you’re looking to make more for as part of your meal or post-workout drink, double up the recipe and add some protein!

Extras: Add 2 tablespoons unsweetened, shredded coconut, a peeled frozen banana, 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons rolled oats, ½-inch piece peeled, fresh ginger, or 2 tablespoons flax meal.

I also like adding chia seeds, delicious!
